Job summary:
As part of the development team at Reneza, a Quality assurance engineer (mid/senior) ensures platform integrity and stability, thus enabling us to support crucial processes in the rental industry, such as time management, repetitive task automatization, issue management and accounting. The system will be used by major agents across the UK.
What you’ll do:

Collaborate with engineers, researchers and designers to ensure the research requirements are met and the tasks are of sufficient quality.

Find and report issues in a clear and accurate manner.

Provide feedback and produce detailed test plans and test cases.

Run bug reviews.

Working closely with developers on functional tests and coordinating test/release branches in Git for deployment

Analyze systems/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes
Requirements:
The core technologies you will use as a Quality assurance engineer are Cypress test suite, GitLab and Jira. However, only some tasks require knowledge about all of the above technologies. You can be successful at your job with a basic understanding of these technologies, depending on your professional background.
Successful Quality assurance engineer might come from a manual QA and web development background. If you have extensive experience in either field, you will very likely be successful in Reneza and learning the three required technologies will not be a problem.

Research, evaluate, architect and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build sustainable software solutions for our clients

Share knowledge and know-how of software best practices inside and outside the team

Lead and work as part of a team, as well as independent work toward assigned goals
Minimum technical skills:

Familiar with Git source control

Experience with Javascript/Typescript

QA testing experience
-
A real passion for both automated and manual testing.
Ideal technical skills:

Experience with an Agile work environment

Experience supporting and working with high availability, scalable and distributed systems, micro-services
-
Good understanding of Scrum, Kanban and Jira (or other agile toolsets)
