Job summary:
As part of the development team at Reneza, a DevOps Engineer
(mid/senior) deploys and supports product and its updates, thus enabling
us to support crucial processes in the rental industry, such as time
management, repetitive task automatization, issue management and
accounting. The system will be used by major agents across the UK.
What you’ll do:

Maintain and support low-latency, high-availability, and performant
cloud applications
- Build monitoring and operate platforms and services

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production
environments

Ensure that servers, virtual machines and working tools are running
stable

Analyze systems/processes and initiate necessary improvements and
changes
Requirements:
The core technologies you will use as a DevOps Engineer are Kubernetes,
Gitlab CI/CD, Nginx. However, only some tasks require knowledge about
all of the above technologies. You can be successful at your job with a
basic understanding of these technologies, depending on your
professional background.
Successful DevOps Engineers might come from sysadmin, web development
background. If you have extensive experience in either field, you will
very likely be successful in Reneza and learning the three required
technologies will not be a problem.
As the web development industry grows rapidly, we must keep up. To do
so, we highly encourage you to:

Research, evaluate, architect and deploy new tools, frameworks, and
patterns to build sustainable software solutions for our clients

Share knowledge and know-how of software best practices inside and
outside the team

Lead and work as part of a team, as well as independently work toward
assigned goals
Minimum technical skills:
-
Familiar with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and build
automation frameworks (GitLab CI/CD)

Experience supporting and working with high availability, scalable and
distributed systems, micro-services
- Good handle of Nginx, Kafka and MongoDB
Ideal technical skills:
-
Strong background in Linux Administration and scripting (Bash, Python,
JavaScript)
- Knowledge on NoSQL databases, building queries
- Experience with Agile work environment

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable
application
