As part of the development team at Reneza, a Cyber Security Engineer (mid/senior) ensures product technical security, thus enabling us to support crucial processes in the rental industry, such as time management, repetitive task automatization, issue management and accounting. The system will be used by major agents across the UK.
What you’ll do:
White-box cloud applications
Support, management and development of security systems
Analyze systems/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes
Successful Cyber Security Engineer might come from a sysadmin or web development background. If you have extensive experience in either field, you will very likely be successful in Reneza and learning the three required technologies will not be a problem.

Research, evaluate, architect and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build sustainable software solutions for our clients
Share knowledge and know-how of software best practices inside and outside the team
Lead and work as part of a team, as well as independent work toward assigned goals
Minimum technical skills:
Technical background with exposure to IT, security, network or cloud infrastructure administration
Basic knowledge of SIEM
Good knowledge of computer networks, TCP/IP, operating systems, software, hardware and encryption technologies
Vulnerability testing and management to identify and remediate network, system and application vulnerabilities
Working knowledge of various security technologies such as: Identity Access Management e.g. Active Directory; E-mail & Web filtering appliances; Anti-malware protection; Vulnerability Scanners; Host intrusion prevention; Network and application firewalls; Encryption techniques
Ideal technical skills:
Experience with an Agile work environment
Experience securing Kubernetes within a production environment.
Practical understanding of CI/CD and uses within deployment.
Relevant security qualification e.g. CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SSCP or BSc in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) subject
